Before retiring from the Trade Show Exhibit business, Al Good who was also a ventriloquist noticed that many vent stands and other stage props available commercially were poorly built. Not only were they poorly built, but they were heavier than necessary and lacked portability.

As a performing ventriloquist, and builder of quality Trade Show Exhibit materials, we built a folding vent stand with a lightweight top that was sturdier and lighter than any other folding stand on the market, and.... it folds to just 28-1/2” so that it would fit into most performance cases.

Our performance stand tops are covered with a heavy duty trade show exhibit material that is attractive and Velcro®-sensitive. This eliminates the problem of heavy figures sliding forward when the performer is manipulating him during a show. No more grabbing the figure in the crotch. It also allows for many accessories to be used with the top including a folding puppet stage for hand puppets, a practice script holder, and the ability to hold script prompts when performing.

Over the years of performing and using his own product, he went on to develop and market other accessories for the vent stands and tops to vents around the world.
